On June 23, 2025, ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited (ASGI) – a subsidiary of ASG Corporation, in coordination with the People’s Committee of Soc Son District, solemnly held the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the CN2 Industrial Cluster Infrastructure Investment Project in Mai Dinh Commune, Soc Son District. This is one of the largest industrial cluster projects in the capital city, contributing to the realization of Soc Son’s and Hanoi’s planning orientation for modern and sustainable industrial development.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of: Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong – Member of the Hanoi Party Committee, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Bui Duy Cuong – Member of the Hanoi Party Committee, Secretary of the Soc Son District Party Committee; Mr. Pham Van Minh – Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Soc Son District; Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc – Member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Soc Son District; Also in attendance were leaders and representatives from departments, agencies, and sectors of Hanoi; current and former leaders of Soc Son District and Mai Dinh Commune; representatives of local authorities and households within the project area in the villages of Dac Tai, Huong Dinh Dong, and Huong Dinh Doai; representatives of government authorities and enterprises at Noi Bai International Airport; construction contractors, supervision consultants, and representatives of the press and media.
From the Investor’s side were: Mr. Duong Duc Tinh – Chairman of ASG Corporation, Chairman of the Members’ Council of ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited; Mr. Truong Minh Hoang – Acting General Director of ASG Corporation, General Director of ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited; Mr. Dang Luu Dung – Member of the BOD of ASG Corporation; Mr. Ngo Quang Huy – Member of the Members’ Council of ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited; Mrs. Nguyen Thi Le Hang – Head of the Supervisory Board of ASG Corporation and ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited; Mr. Dam Duy Toan – Deputy General Director of ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited; as well as leaders from various functional departments of the Corporation and member companies under ASG Corporation.
Highlights from the Groundbreaking Ceremony
As one of the three core pillars of ASG Corporation, which operates in logistics, aviation, and infrastructure services, ASGI plays a key role in realizing the Corporation’s strategic vision. The CN2 Industrial Cluster is a flagship project that completes ASG’s integrated service ecosystem. The CN2 Industrial Cluster covers an area of approximately 505,950 m² (50.59 hectares), of which 469,920 m² (46.99 hectares) is designated for technical infrastructure. The project’s total investment is nearly VND 1,000 billion (approximately USD 39 million).
The project enjoys strategic connectivity only 5 km from Noi Bai International Airport, 30 km from downtown Hanoi, and about 120 km from Hai Phong Port. It is located near major industrial hubs such as Samsung Bac Ninh (23 km) and Samsung Thai Nguyen (30 km). Positioned within Subzone 4 of Soc Son Urban Area, CN2 is planned as a multi-sector concentrated industrial area with a readily available workforce.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Duc Tinh – Chairman of ASG Corporation and Chairman of the Members’ Council of ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited, representing the investor, stated: “The CN2 Industrial Cluster is expected to serve as a foundation for sustainable production and business. It will be a hub for industrial production and supporting services connected to Noi Bai International Airport. The project’s role and significance for Soc Son District and Hanoi are evident. CN2 will not only generate new budget revenues but also contribute to regional economic restructuring, create thousands of local jobs, and establish a new industrial growth engine at the northern gateway of the capital, just 5 km from Noi Bai Airport. It also plays a vital role in completing ASG Corporation’s ecosystem of logistics services, airport services, and industrial infrastructure investment”.
Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong – Member of the Hanoi Party Committee and Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized the importance of the project and called on departments to work closely with Soc Son District to create the most favorable conditions for the investor. He remarked that the CN2 Industrial Cluster not only addresses production expansion needs and land allocation for local businesses and craft villages but also significantly contributes to economic restructuring and promotes green and sustainable growth. “The CN2 Industrial Cluster is oriented to become a model of clean and modern industry, attracting high-tech sectors, aviation services, logistics, and port-related industries. It will help reduce pollution from traditional craft villages, improve land use efficiency, and enhance the quality of life for residents” Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong emphasized.
