ASG Corporation has officially announced the financial report for the third quarter of 2022. Revenue in the first 9 months of the year increased dramatically, exceeding the milestone of 1.400 billion VND, up 280% over the same period in 2021, achieving 77 % of the whole year plan. Profit before tax increased by 720%, equivalent to 152,5 billion VND, reaching 92 % of the 2022 profit plan.
Contributing to impressive business results in the first 9 months in general and the third quarter of 2022, in particular must be attributed to the positive contributions from the logistics and aviation industries. Specifically, 9 months of accumulated revenue from freight, passenger, warehousing and office leasing of the logistics sector reached 1.204,8 billion VND, up 2,64 times over the same period last year, from aviation industries, including airport services, catering and sales of goods, reached VND 81 billion, up 3.1 times over the same period last year.
Besides, the 9-month accumulated revenue of Vinafco (VFC-Upcom), which was purchased by ASG Corporation in May 2022, reached VND 1.196,7 billion, up 42% over the same period in 2021. Accordingly, revenue from Vinafco contributed to the ASG’s consolidated revenue of 859 billion VND. In addition, the ASG’s total assets reached 3.182 billion VND, an increase of more than 1.000 billion VND compared to 01/01/2022.
Moreover, the growth in revenue, profitability indicators also improved significantly. Specifically, accumulated earnings per share (EPS) in the past 3 quarters reached 2.016 VND, an increase of more than 6 times compared to the same period in 2021 (335 VND). The 9-month cumulative return on equity (ROE) reached 11%, compared to 1,6% in the same period in 2021.
With positive results since the beginning of 2022, the business activities of ASG Corporation are expected to continue to grow and fulfill the business plan targets for 2022 approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders.
