On the morning of June 23, ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited (ASGI) in collaboration with the People’s Committee of Soc Son District, held a groundbreaking ceremony for the technical infrastructure development project of the CN2 Industrial Cluster in Mai Đình Commune (Soc Son District). This CN2 Industrial Cluster project is a strategic key initiative that will contribute to completing ASG Corporation service chain.

The CN2 Industrial Cluster was established under Decision No. 2794/QĐ-UBND dated June 26, 2020 by the Hanoi City People’s Committee. Its 1/500-scale detailed plan was later adjusted under Decision No. 8705/QĐ-UBND dated December 10, 2024 by the Soc Son District People’s Committee (Phase I adjustment). Subsequently, the land for the project was allocated by the Hanoi People’s Committee via Decision No. 2762/QĐ-UBND dated June 2, 2025. The investor and developer of the cluster is ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited (ASGI).
The CN2 Industrial Cluster is planned on an area of approximately 505,950 m² (about 50.59 ha), of which around 469,920 m² are designated for the industrial cluster’s technical infrastructure. The total investment for the project is nearly VND 1,000 billion.
In his remarks at the ceremony, Mr. Duong Duc Tinh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of ASG Corporation and Chairman of the Members’ Council of ASG Infrastructure and Industrial Zone Development Company Limited (ASGI), highlighted the prime location and connectivity of the CN2 Industrial Cluster. The site offers convenient transportation links to major hubs – it is close to Noi Bai International Airport, about 30 km from central Hanoi, and 120 km from Hai Phong Port. It is also near large industrial complexes such as Samsung Bac Ninh (23 km away) and Samsung Thai Nguyen (30 km away). Located in Subdivision 4 of the Soc Son urban area, the CN2 Industrial Cluster is positioned to form a multi-sector concentrated industrial zone with an abundant local labor force.

The project is oriented to become a model industrial production zone, prioritizing sectors that apply modern, green, and clean technologies with a strong emphasis on minimizing environmental pollution. Key industries targeted for development include aviation manufacturing and services, logistics, supporting industries for Noi Bai International Airport, mechanical assembly, electrical and electronic manufacturing, industrial equipment production, processing and fabrication industries, and other auxiliary sectors,…
The CN2 Industrial Cluster features a modern and comprehensively connected transportation system. The master traffic plan includes a main arterial road with a cross-section of 35 meters, running the length of the industrial cluster and directly connecting to Road 131. Internal roads are connected directly to the main road, with cross-sections ranging from 10 to 30 meters, ensuring seamless and efficient circulation for transport vehicles and heavy-duty trucks. Each industrial land lot will have a minimum area of 2,000 square meters, with a maximum construction density of 70% and building height allowance up to 3.5 meters, thereby maximizing land use efficiency.
The project includes a standard-compliant fire prevention and firefighting system, and a centralized wastewater treatment station equipped with advanced technology, with a treatment capacity of 1,250 cubic meters per day and night.

With the capacity, experience, and strong commitment of ASGI, the CN2 Industrial Cluster project is expected to be completed in a timely manner, delivering modern infrastructure as a solid foundation for sustainable production and business operations. The cluster will serve as a supporting zone directly connected to Noi Bai International Airport and is also anticipated to become a prosperous destination for secondary investors. At the same time, the project contributes to realizing the capital city’s vision of developing a green and modern industrial sector, generating thousands of jobs, facilitating labor structure transformation, and advancing the goal of sustainable economic growth in Soc Son District in particular and Hanoi City in general—during a pivotal era of national advancemen.
Attending and speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized that the launch and future operation of the CN2 Industrial Cluster in Soc Son will play a key role in the development of local industries and services. It will meet the urgent demand for production premises among enterprises and manufacturing facilities in traditional craft villages, help reduce environmental pollution, and promote the sustainable development potential of the district’s industrial, handicraft, and traditional village sectors.

Mr. Vo Nguyen Phong assigned relevant departments and divisions of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade to coordinate closely with Soc Son District in creating the most favorable conditions for the project investor to implement the CN2 Industrial Cluster. He also emphasized the need for regular inspections and supervision to ensure that the investor develops the industrial cluster’s technical infrastructure in a civilized, modern manner—ensuring a bright, green, clean, and aesthetically pleasing environment. The Department of Industry and Trade will also continue to monitor and urge the investor to accelerate the construction progress and promptly advise the Hanoi People’s Committee on effective project management solutions, ensuring timely operation in accordance with regulations.
Regarding project investors, Director Vo Nguyen Phong called for a focused mobilization of resources and equipment to expedite the development of technical infrastructure at industrial clusters, attract secondary investors, and fully realize the project’s potential. This, he noted, would significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of Sóc Sơn District in particular, and Hanoi City as a whole.
